SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. This contract vehicle supports the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, Military Sealift Command, and the United States Marine Corps.

Quality Assurance Program

Our experience over the past twelve years working with a diverse federal and private sector client set has allowed us to create a simplified, effective Quality Assurance Program, ensuring the continuous improvement of our work products, management processes, and the overall quality and value of our services. Quality control activities are defined for each project based on the complexity and type of the work. Quality control procedures are implemented by BB&E from the pre-proposal stage on a task order, through planning, engineering, performance, document preparation, construction, startup, and/or operations and maintenance, and project closeout. BB&E utilizes standard QA/QC procedures, which are an integral part of each project, to ensure the quality, timeliness, cost effectiveness, and integrity of the work product. Our defined procedures allow us to track the status of each document (i.e., under development, review, complete, etc.) and its location (i.e., where electronic and hard copies are maintained).

BB&E’s Quality Assurance┬áProgram is based on the concept of continual improvement and is comprised of four steps: Preparing, Reviewing, Assessing, and Revising.
