New Contract Awarded: VA CFM Environmental Support Services IDIQ
BB&E is honored to be part of the S3 (Stell SIA Salas O'Brien, LLC) team, awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for professional, environmental, historical, sustainment, and related support services. Our team was awarded Eastern, Central, and Western Region contracts with a shared capacity of $300M.
This contract encompasses a wide array of services aimed at assisting the VA in addressing environmental and historical challenges across its facilities nationwide. The scope includes conducting environmental impact analyses and ensuring compliance with regulations such as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), managing hazardous materials to mitigate environmental risks, and developing plans for natural resource management, including endangered species protection and stormwater pollution prevention. Additionally, the contract covers historic preservation efforts, including archaeological and cultural resource management and compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
As part of the S3 Team, BB&E's multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians will bring specialized expertise in areas such as:
- Site/Property/Facility Environmental Investigation and Field Studies;
- Environmental impact analysis, regulatory compliance, and sustainability studies;
- Pollution, waste, and hazardous material management;
- ISO 14001 environmental management system support;
- Cost engineering and other engineering services support.
Services will be delivered across multiple locations throughout the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and other specified outlying areas.
