New Contract Awarded: AFCEC/CXA Requirements and Acquisition Support
BB&E is pleased to announce the award of a five-year contract to continue our support to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Requirements and Acquisition Division (AFCEC/CXA), supporting all phases of the Civil Engineer Requirements, Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Acquisition Process. BB&E will be assisting AFCEC/CXA with planning and executing programs for acquiring systems, equipment, and technology to fulfill CE needs for in-garrison, expeditionary, contingency installations, and air bases. The mission of AFCEC includes generating requirements, executing CE RDT&E projects, and acquiring systems, equipment, technologies, and data to fulfill CE operational needs. To fulfill this mission requirement, BB&E will provide comprehensive support to AFCEC/CXA with formalizing capability requirements, operation of the Technical Information Center (TIC); documenting RDT&E results; assisting in formalizing requirements for the Civil Engineers; assisting with conducting RDT&E and acquiring systems for the Civil Engineers.
